Alexa is a senior writer for the site and has been for several years. Her passion is teaching others how to see their lives and find their own paths. She has a masters degree in education and has had a number of jobs in education, education policy, and public policy.
Alexa is one of the few people who actually knows what it means when a person says “I have this book.” She has been working with children and young adults for the past five years, and is also a high school teacher. She is a frequent contributor on the site and has written two articles about why we should be sharing more about our lives with people all over the world, and how to do it.
As a teacher, Alexa knows that the best way to keep your students engaged is to offer them experiences that they would normally only experience in school. And she’s certainly not alone in this. Many teachers are finding that offering these experiences to their students can not only help them make connections with their peers, but it can also provide them with a sense of personal ownership over their own learning.
The best teachers in this past year have been our own Alexa and the kids at our school, who have been using this tactic to get students on track and keep them engaged. They’ve used the time shared lesson plans, video chats, and other tools that we have to engage students in the classroom.
The other tool that we use is the free online course, which is offered through our school district and a number of other schools. We offer a course that teaches students how to do a specific task that the teacher has determined they need to do, such as completing a project, or writing a paper. Sometimes the teacher will ask the students to do something and we will work together to find the best approach.
I think that this is something that a lot of people would consider to be an easy way to engage students in the classroom, but I guess I’m a little bit skeptical of online courses. When I started studying abroad at a university in the U.K., we had a program that was just online through Skype. I had to write a paper about a topic I knew a lot about, and we were given a topic and an outline for the paper.
I’m not really sure what the point of that was. The point was that it gave us more information about the thing that we were working on than if we would have just been writing the paper in class. I think that might be a good argument for making the online part of a class optional.
So what we have here is a guy who is not a very good writer. He’s also too lazy to do the homework. The whole point of doing the homework is that you actually have to do it, you don’t just show up for class, you actually have to do the homework.
I think that the homework in general is an important part of self-discipline. We want to become independent, but when we are not doing the homework, we feel like we are not. But in classes, the homework helps people actually do it and, if done well, it can actually be fun.
I think the homework is a great way to encourage students to think about the bigger picture. It’s like a little ritual that everyone on the team does every day. I like to think of the homework as a sort of form of meditation. It’s basically a way of making your mind go blank. You have to take breaks, but when you come back to the class after the break, you are already thinking about what you’ve learned in the class.
