I recently had the chance to attend a lecture by author and mental health advocate Dr. Tara Brach. In this lecture she focused more on the neuroscience related to mental health, specifically on the impact of self-awareness and self-compassion. She brought up the concept of the Three Levels of Self-Awareness. She talked about the differences between how low level thoughts and feelings are and how high level awareness is. This was an interesting topic and definitely worth some thought.
The differences between how low level thoughts and feelings are and how high level awareness is are quite large. For instance, there are different parts of our brain that are used for “inner speech” and “outer speech.” When we think about a problem or feeling in a self-focused way, our brain goes to the “inner speech” part of the brain. That’s our “inner voice,” our “inner thoughts,” our “inner language.
The problem with this level of awareness is that when we are in such a self-focused way, we can’t think of ourselves as having a problem or feeling, we just feel something. So when we feel a certain way, when we’re being self-focused, we don’t really have a problem or feeling. It’s a bit like when we’re in a trance, we are not aware of our inner self.
The best way to know that you are in a trance is to just feel a certain way. That way, if you are feeling a certain way, you know you are in a trance. In this video, we are going to go over the inner speech part of the brain. It is the part that lets us know that we are in a trance when were in a trance.
It’s that inner speech that let’s us know that we are in a trance. We are in a trance because all of our mental activity is directed towards a specific goal. When we are in a trance, we are in a state where we are focusing all our attention on one particular thing. When we are in a trance, we are in the state where we are directing all our attention to the same thing.
This is really important. Sometimes you can think of your life without the concept of “I” and “you”. We know we are in a trance when we think that everything you are thinking is coming from your brain, but we also know that you are in a trance because when you are in a trance, you are saying things that you would normally say.
When we are in a trance, we are in a state where we are saying things that we would normally say. To the untrained eye, it may be hard to think that we are just saying things, but we are actually saying things. This is actually part of why we can’t use our “takes” as a tool to predict what we are going to say. We are saying it because we are saying it.
I find it especially interesting that we can say things that we would normally say in our trance. The other day I was at an event and I was talking to a few people and I was just sort of repeating things that I would normally say. They were all surprised that I was doing it.
We are saying things because we are saying them. And that is why we can’t predict what we are going to say or how we are going to say it. We are saying things because it is what we are saying.
But if we are saying things that we would normally say in a trance, then why are we not saying those things in our trance? I mean, I can say “I love my kids more than life itself” in my trance and I could have said those words 100% accurately, but why is that something that I don’t say in my trance? Why should I just say “I love my kids more than life itself”? I mean, I could have even been right in the first place.
